The Miz Retains The Intercontinental Championship At WWE Survivor Series

Last week on the 900th episode of SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler defended his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. It was Miz who walked out with the gold thanks to an assist from the Sprit Squad, and his wife Maryse.

The Miz walked into Survivor Series with his newly won Intercontinental Championship on Sunday, and he defended it against Sami Zayn, with the stipulation being that if Zayn won the title would move from SmackDown to Raw.

Miz and Sami Zayn battled back and forth and Miz put Sami in the figure four, but Sami reversed it. The hold was broken up, and later in the match Sami Zayn put The Miz in the figure four again, and Maryse started ringing the bell. Sami Zayn was celebrating, as he thought he had won the match, but Miz rolled him up for the win while he was distracted.
