The battle lines were drawn weeks ago when SmackDown’s authority figures challenged Raw’s authority figures to a little brand warfare at Survivor Series. Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley accepted the challenge, and it was decided that Raw would face off against SmackDown in three traditional Survivor Series matches.
The Women’s division went to war on Sunday, as Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Carmella prepared to face off against Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox.
All the ladies made their way down the ring, but when Nikki Bella’s music hit, she didn’t come out. Cameras cut to the backstage area, and Nikki Bella said she was attacked from behind, but she didn’t see who hit her. Daniel Bryan and Natalya checked on her, and the doctor said that he couldn’t clear Nikki to compete. Natalya decided that she would have to step up and take Nikki’s spot, Daniel Bryan then sent her to the ring.
Carmella was the first to go and she was eliminated by Alicia Fox. Alexa Bliss eliminated Alicia Fox immediately after when she put her away with Twisted Bliss. Naomi was then eliminated. Sasha Banks was eliminated next after Natalya got her with a roll up.
Charlotte took out Natalya with a big boot. Becky Lynch tried to get in the ring but Alexa Bliss tagged herself in. They tried to double suplex Nia Jax, but Nia Jax reversed it an lifted them both up for a double suplex. Becky Lynch then made Nia Jax tap out to the Disarm Her. Nia Jax pulled Becky out of the ring and slammed her into the barricade. Alexa Bliss rolled Becky’s body out the ring, then turned around into a boot to the face from Charlotte, and Charlotte eliminated her.
Charlotte and Bayley fought back and forth with Becky Lynch for a few minutes, then Bayley put her away with the Belly to Bayley.
As Charlotte and Bayley were celebrating, Charlotte attacked Bayley and threw her out of the ring.
