Last week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns found himself on the wrong end of a beatdown courtesy of The Miztourage. After Miz, Axel and Dallas wrecked Roman Reigns, they did the iconic Shield fist bump, but no one came to save Roman Reigns.
This week The Miz defended his Intercontinental Championship against Roman Reigns, and The Shield references continued as The Miztourage entered through the crowd.
As soon as Roman Reigns made his entrance, he attacked Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, then chased them through the crowd. Roman caught up with Dallas and Axel at the top of the entrance ramp, and he hit them both with a steel chair repeatedly until they were incapacitated, then he set his sights on The Miz and made his way down to the ring.
The Miz gave it everything he had and at one point he thought he had it won when he hit Roman with the Skull Crushing Finale, but Roman kicked out.
Roman Reigns then followed up with a Superman Punch, but The Miz kicked out and Roman prepared to hit Miz with a spear, but Cesaro and Sheamus grabbed his legs and pulled him out of the ring to cause a disqualification.
Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus then proceeded to hit their finishers on Roman and they left the ring.
As they were walking up the ramp, Miz asked Cesaro and Sheamus if they’re the new Shield, and they all looked at each other and smiled before getting back in the ring.
They then hit the triple powerbomb on Roman and followed up with The Shield fist bump to end the segment.
It’s been rumored that The Shield will be reuniting at TLC this month, but their opponents remain unknown. Judging from this segment it looks like we could see the trio face off against Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus at the pay-per-view.
