When Mickie James and Trish Status feuded with one another they gave the fans something special, and they worked hard to try and change the perception of women’s wrestling. Mickie James is still an active member of the WWE roster, but Trish is not. However, WWE has confirmed that Trish Status will be appearing at WWE’s first ever all women’s pay-per-view in October, and Trish recently reflected on how far she and Mickie have come.

At this point it’s not known what Trish Stratus will be doing at the pay-per-view, but Mickie James has made it very clear that she wants to face Trish one more time.
We’ve stood the test of time my friend… But after tonight’s announcement from @StephMcMahon and all the excitement for something we all worked so hard for I must ask… One more time?! #EVOLUTION #ThePeopleWantIt #IWantIt 💋 https://t.co/8jBhJOHQJ6

Whether or not the match will happen remains to be seen, but judging from the comments on Mickie’s post, there’s not shortage of fans who want to see it.
So far it’s been confirmed that the Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK Women’s Championships will be defended at Evolution, and the Mae Young Classic finals will take place at the event.
