On Sunday fans were focused on the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, but WWE gave everyone something to look forward to when it was revealed that Hall of Famer Mick Foley would be introducing a new title belt on Raw.

Throughout the day rumors about the belt made the rounds, and talk of a possible 24/7 rule for the title came up frequently.

As Mick Foley made his way to the ring, he said that it’s time to make Monday nights Raw again.

He talked about what it takes to become a legend, and he said that it’s an obsession that consumes you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Foley then presented WWE’s newest title, the WWE 24/7 Title, and he said the title can be defended any place, any time, anywhere. Like the Hardcore Title, as long as a referee is present a pin fall can take place anywhere.

He placed the title in the ring, and said that the third hour of Raw is going to get a little dirty every week. He announced a scramble will take place and the first champion will be crowned tonight.

Superstars from every single brand are eligible to compete.

EC3, Cedric Alexander, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Titus O’Neil, Eric Young, Mojo Rawley, Drake Maverick and No Way Jose then started brawling as they tried to grab the title.

Titus O’Neil ended up grabbing the title to become the first ever 24/7 Champion.

As he was celebrating at the top of the ramp Robert Roode rolled him up for a pin to win the belt. He then ran away as everyone chased him.
