For years Mercedes Mone wrestled in WWE as Sasha Banks and she established herself as one of the top stars in the women’s division. Throughout her run with WWE, Mercedes managed to win multiple championships, but she decided to part ways with the company in 2022.
Since parting ways with WWE, Mercedes Mone has been wrestling all over the world and she’s also become one of the biggest names in the AEW women’s division. Even though Mercedes is currently busy competing elsewhere many fans have wondered if she could return to WWE someday.
Recently on social media asked Mercedes when she will return to WWE and she responded with the following comment: “when they induct me into the HOF 😍”
Mercedes Mone recently won the Owen Hart Cup at the AEW Forbidden Door pay-per-view which means she has a guaranteed shot at the AEW Women’s Championship at the All In pay-per-view in August. Currently the AEW Women’s Championship is held by Thekla, so it will be interesting to see how things play out for Mercedes on the road to All In.
At this point it remains to be seen if Mercedes Mone will ever return to WWE, but if the past has taught us anything it’s that you can never say never in the world of professional wrestling.
