Mercedes Mone has been one of the top stars in women’s wrestling for some time now and she’s quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the AEW women’s division. Currently Mercedes Mone is the TBS Champion, and she’s also undefeated in AEW.
Mone has picked up an impressive amount of wins since she debuted with All Elite Wrestling in March of 2024, but some have taken it upon themselves to call her “Mercedes Hogan” due to her winning streak. Recently Mercedes addressed people who refer to her as “Mercedes Hogan” during a live stream on Instagram when she said, “Don’t call me Mercedes Hogan, call me Mercedes Omega.”
She later doubled down on the nickname when she posted the following tweet:
“I’m the Alpha, the Omega, everything in between!
Ride with Moné , mmh Mashallah
Check in with me, then do your job”
One way or another Mercedes Mone will have the chance to add more gold to her collection when she challenges Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Champion at All In Texas on Saturday, July 12th.
