Following the TKO merger WWE cut ties with a number of talents and there were some surprising names that got cut. Matt Riddle happened to be one of the wrestlers who was released, but it doesn’t look like the former United States Champion is done with in-ring competition.
Recently it was announced that Matt Riddle will be competing at Big Time Wrestling’s The Reunion 3 event on Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Chillicothe, Ohio. Riddle will be facing off against WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam for the first time ever and tickets for the event are now on sale.

Obviously there are still several months to go before March rolls around and Matt Riddle will become a free agent in December, so it will be interesting to see if he’s booked for more matches before he clashes with Rob Van Dam at The Reunion 3. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
