The legal battle between The Broken Hardys and Impact Wrestling has been well documented and it looks like it’s far from over. Jeff and Matt Hardy aren’t the only stars that Impact Wrestling has lost over the past few years, as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Eric Young, Christopher Daniels and more also parted ways with the promotion. Christopher Daniels recently became the ROH World Champion, and Jeff Jarrett took to Twitter to congratulate him.

Christopher Daniels won the World Title during the ROH 15th Anniversary Show and The Broken Hardys also defended their ROH Tag Team Titles at the same event.

Prior to the show, Impact Wrestling sent cease and desist letters to PPV providers because they didn’t want Jeff and Matt Hardy using the Broken Hardys gimmick on the show.

Matt Hardy decided to call Jeff Jarrett out noting that if he sincerely cared about Christopher Daniels and ROH, he wouldn’t have sent out the cease and desist letters.

We’re on the cusp of WrestleMania week and wrestling fans know that the week is always loaded with big events. WrestleCon has become a staple of WrestleMania week and this year’s convention is loaded with names that wrestling fans are familiar with, but one star fans won’t be seeing at the convention is none other than Alberto Del Rio, now known as Alberto El Patron.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion got engaged to Paige last year, and they’ve both been dealing with the hacking scandal that some are referring to as “Paigegate.” Alberto has pulled out of WrestleCon, and he issued the following statement in regards to why he will no longer be appearing at the event:

“Due to the invasion of our privacy, I need to be home with the person that needs me more at the moment and our family. Thanks for your support and I’ll be seeing you next time.”
