For those of you that haven’t been keeping track, after Matt Hardy won the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory, EC3 filed an injunction against Matt which would prevent him from working in TNA. Matt is playing the storyline up on Twitter saying that the first hearing for the injunction won’t be taking place for months and he’s decided to vacate the TNA World Championship in the meantime.
Hardy says he doesn’t want to relinquish the belt but feels that it’s what’s best for TNA. TNA will be issuing a statement about the future of the belt on Wednesday.
