You never know when you might see a big return, and earlier today it was confirmed that John Cena will be returning to WWE in September. Cena has been confirmed for SmackDown on September 1 and Superstar Spectacle in India on September 8.
After the news broke John Cena took to social media to confirm that he will be wrestling at Superstar Spectacle when he posted the following:
“Cannot wait to reunite with the @WWE family live on #Smackdown! Especially excited to meet the #WWE Universe in India and wrestle for the FIRST TIME EVER in ! The time is NOW…. C U all VERY soon!!! @WWE @WWEIndia”

There’s currently no word on who John Cena will be facing at Superstar Spectacle, but this will be his first match since he was defeated by Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 back in April. Stay tuned for updates.
