This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown emanated from the O2 Arena in London, England and the show focused on the build for the Night of Champions premium live event.
Last week on SmackDown, the MFTs warned Solo Sikoa that they didn’t want to get dragged into his family business after Jacob Fatu tried to convince him to return to The Bloodline on behalf of Roman Reigns. Solo inevitably got involved on Monday Night Raw when he hit Jimmy Uso with a Samoan Spike which allowed LA Knight to pick up a win over Jimmy.
Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga confirmed on this week’s episode of SmackDown that they are officially done with Solo, and the MFTs are no more when they told Solo Sikoa, “We got word from the elders. Me and Tama. We out.” Later in the show it was confirmed that Solo is now truly on his own.
LA Knight made a surprise appearance and he recalled how he beat Jimmy Uso on Raw while he was cutting a promo. However, he said he was confused as to why Solo Sikoa interfered in the match, so he called Solo Sikoa out to the ring.
Solo told LA Knight that he’s not looking for a fight. He talked about what happened earlier with the MFTs and said that everyone has left him. Knight said that leaves the door wide open for Solo Sikoa to walk right back into The Bloodline.
LA Knight questioned why Solo attacked Jimmy, and Solo got heated as he declared that he hates that whole family, especially Roman Reigns. He continued as he told LA Knight that the one thing they have in common is that they don’t like The Bloodline. Knight continued to question if Solo will return to The Bloodline, but Solo said it’s just him now, and the enemy of my enemy can be friends, and they can take out The Bloodline together.
The Megastar told Solo that he doesn’t need him to watch his back because he does things his way. Knight said, “Thanks, but no thanks,” as he walked away.
