Business has picked up in the world of professional wrestling over the last few years and it looks like one of AEW’s top stars is WWE bound. Jade Cargill had a much talked about run with AEW which featured a 60 match undefeated streak, but now that run has come to an end.
Fightful Select is reporting that people they spoke to in WWE, AEW, and those close to Jade Cargill implied that her deal with All Elite Wrestling was up last Friday which means she’s free to go wherever she wants. Sources have noted that Cargill is not expected to appear on Raw or NXT this week, but she is expected to sign a deal with WWE.
Jade Cargill will be at the WWE Performance Center this week which is typical as almost every wrestler who is brought in is required to make a trip to the PC.
WWE has long had interest in Jade Cargill, and some within WWE had heard of the company’s interest back in July. Several people close to Jade Cargill are being coy about her future plans. However, higher ups in AEW are reportedly aware of her plans to jump to WWE.
There doesn’t seem to be any ill will between Jade Cargill and AEW as she was treated well on her way out. She also received a nice ovation backstage. Sources in WWE have been speculating about Jade Cargill’s future regarding whether she will go to the main roster or NXT.
