Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of Monday Night Raw last month and it was recently reported by Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. that The Boss had been released from WWE. Now WrestleVotes is reporting that the word going around backstage at SmackDown this week is that Sasha was indeed released.
The word backstage from SmackDown tonight is that the report from @TheRajGiri is indeed accurate according to multiple sources.

It’s also worth noting that Reddit user kermit125, who has broken other stories in the past, is claiming that Sasha Banks was released, “Some weeks ago.” It was reported recently that Sasha’s lawyers had been working to get her release. As of this writing WWE has yet to confirm the release or issue a statement of any kind.
There’s currently no word on what Sasha’s future plans are, but if she has a 90 day non-compete clause then it might be a little while before we find out. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
