Jey Uso has become one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster, and back in February he shocked the world when he won the 30 man Royal Rumble match. Uso punched his ticket to WrestleMania and he went on to defeat Gunther when he put him away with a sleeper to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
On the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther in a rematch, and ultimately it was The Ring General who walked away with the title. Now that Jey Uso is no longer champion everyone is wondering what’s next.
Cory Hays of PWN is reporting that there were some rumblings that WWE wanted to put The Usos back together at some point this year, and now that Jey Uso has dropped the WWE World Heavyweight Championship it looks like that could be the direction.
Throughout their WWE careers The Usos have spent most of their time working together as a tag team. They achieved major success will multiple title reigns and are the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time.
As of right now Jimmy Uso is on SmackDown, while Jey Uso is on Raw, so it will be interesting to see how things play out in the months to come if WWE does decide to put them back together.
