Bray Wyatt got the wrestling world talking last year when he returned to WWE at the Extreme Rules premium live event, but it’s been months since fans have seen the former Universal Champion on TV. Wyatt appeared to be building to a match with Bobby Lashley on the road to WrestleMania 39 until he was sidelined due to an illness that has kept him off TV since February.

Fightful Select is reporting that a WWE higher up confirmed Bray Wyatt is still sidelined. He is not cleared, but currently waiting to be cleared, and hoping to make a WWE return whenever that happens.

It’s also being reported that original plans called for Bray Wyatt to face Bobby Lashley in a match at WrestleMania this year. Wyatt was also set to be involved with Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy and Alexa Bliss in some capacity. Bo Dallas has been off TV and Alexa Bliss is set to be out of action for the rest of the year due to her pregnancy.

There have not been any significant creative plans for Bray Wyatt due to the unpredictable nature of him getting cleared. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
