SummerSlam is quickly approaching and fans are expecting to see some big moments at the premium live event this weekend. It’s been rumored that Bray Wyatt could be making his return at SummerSlam, but it doesn’t sound like that’s in the cards at the moment.
PWInsider is reporting that there’s been no indication internally that Bray Wyatt will be returning at WWE SummerSlam this weekend. It was also noted that numerous sources have said Bray Wyatt is out with a health issue, and there’s been no indication that he will be cleared to return soon. Until Bray is fully cleared he won’t be appearing on WWE programming.
It’s also being reported that despite the rumors online claiming that Wyatt disappeared from TV because of Vince McMahon’s return numerous sources have adamantly said that’s not the case. Bray Wyatt not returning is simply a case of WWE being very careful when it comes to his health.
Bray Wyatt last wrestled on TV back in January when he faced LA Knight in the first ever Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble. He was originally building up a WrestleMania match with Bobby Lashley, but that match was pulled from the Showcase of the Immortals due to Wyatt’s illness.
