John Cena’s last appearance on WWE programming took place at Money in the Bank back in July when Cena teased the possibility of WrestleMania being held in London. However, fans will be seeing John Cena very soon as he’s set to make his return to WWE during this week’s episode of SmackDown.
It looks like Cena will also be appearing at Payback on Saturday as WrestleVotes is reporting that the former WWE Champion will be the special guest host for the event.

WWE recently announced that Cena will be making regular appearances on SmackDown through October 27, and he will also team with Seth Rollins to face Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser at Superstar Spectacle on September 8.
