Over the last few days the wrestling world has been talking about CM Punk’s backstage altercation with Jack Perry. Not only did CM Punk and Jack Perry get into an altercation at All In, but it’s also been reported that CM Punk got into an exchange with Tony Khan,

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that a neutral source, who is not a wrestler, but was there when the altercation happened, claimed that at one point CM Punk had Jack Perry in a choke and Tony Khan was yelling at Punk to let Perry go.

CM Punk and Jack Perry were immediately broken up and it’s being reported that after they were separated CM Punk lunged in Tony Khan’s direction. According to the story a number of people got in CM Punk’s way and he was yelling “I quit!” Monitors were knocked down when this happened. Samoa Joe was said to have been very upset and he went to calm CM Punk down.

The situation was serious enough that Tony Khan made the call for FTR and The Young Bucks to open All In, but they weren’t ready. Kenny Omega offered to have the six man match go on first as they were pretty much ready. However, Samoa Joe convinced CM Punk to go forward with their match as scheduled.

It’s also being reported that both CM Punk and Jack Perry have been suspended and an investigation started almost immediately.
