Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be the special Tribute To The Troops episode and it will feature CM Punk’s first appearance on the blue brand in nearly a decade.
Ahead of SmackDown tonight WrestleVotes is reporting that CM Punk’s segment will focus on his desire to be in the main event of WrestleMania 40 next year.

This certainly isn’t surprising as it’s long been known that main eventing WrestleMania has been one of Punk’s biggest goals throughout his career. It seems that Punk’s chances of main eventing are now greater than ever as WWE has been pushing him as a top star since he returned a few weeks ago, so it will be interesting to hear what he has to say on SmackDown tonight.
