Some of WWE’s top stars are currently on the sideline as Randy Orton has been out of action since May of 2022. Orton underwent back fusion surgery, but over the last few months there have been a lot of rumors about his potential return.
Fightful Select reports that sources have confirmed Randy Orton was at the WWE Performance Center this week and it hasn’t been much of a secret. It’s being said that Orton has been around for quite some time lately.
Randy Orton has been working out at the gym and at one point he had gotten “huge” in a good way. However, as of early August he had not resumed in-ring training. Despite rumors that Orton was getting closer to a return WWE sources reiterated that he had not been cleared at that point in time.
Orton had been adamant about returning to the ring following his back fusion surgery, and WWE has a very strict rule that if a talent shows up or is returning they have to work out. Cody Rhodes has confirmed the rule is real and not even a name like The Undertaker is able to avoid it.
