This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place Minneapolis and it kicked off with Cody Rhodes inside the ring. Cody cut a promo talking about his victory over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, but he was eventually interrupted by Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins and Cody hinted at a future match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before there were interrupted by The Judgment Day. As Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley were talking to Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, Finn Balor attacked Seth Rollins and a brawl broke out. Sami Zayn the made his way down to even the odds and make the save for Cody and Seth. It was then announced that Cody, Seth and Sami would face off against The Judgment Day in the main event.
At one point Finn Balor was shown talking to JD McDonagh backstage, and later in the night McDonagh attacked Sami Zayn causing him to get pulled from the match. Shinsuke Nakamura who had already faced off against Bronson Reed earlier in the night offered to take Sami’s place.
When it was all said and done Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins picked up a win over The Judgment Day in the main event. Sami Zayn celebrated with them after and as the faces were celebrating inside the ring Shinsuke Nakamura shocked them all when he turned heel and hit Seth Rollins with the Kinshasa. The crowd was stunned as Shinsuke Nakamura exited the ring and made his way to the back while the show went off the air.
