You never know who might show up on AEW Dynamite, and this week the show kicked off in a big way. Ricky Starks’ music hit at the top of the show and he made his way down to the ring.
Starks was quickly attacked from behind by Juice Robinson, and as Juice was attacking Starks, Jay White ran down to the ring and helped Juice with the beat down. Jay White hit the Blade Runner on Starks then celebrated with Juice Robinson.
The commentators referred to him as the “hottest free agent in wrestling.” In recent months there’s been a lot of speculation regarding Jay White’s future in wrestling and it was reported that WWE was interested in the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion. However, it was recently reported by PWInsider that, “There was absolutely no discussion of former NJPW star Jay White within WWE at all over WrestleMania 39 weekend.” It was also ntoed that White wasn’t expected to sign with WWE.
Following his appearance on Dynamite, Tony Khan confirmed Jay White is now All Elite when he posted the following:
