This week on AEW Dynamite, Death Triangle faced off against Top Flight & AR Fox in a match that saw Death Triangle pick up the victory. After the match PAC got on the mic and referenced The Elite when he said that they’ve heard the rumors about certain individuals who could be planning to return to the company at Full Gear.
PAC said if they think they can “just mosey in and best the Death Triangle, well that’s just ridiculous.” He said if they want some then please bring the heat Saturday. A graphic then appeared on the screen confirming that Death Triangle will defend the AEW World Trios Championship against The Elite at Full Gear.
The Elite have not appeared on AEW programming since they became the first ever AEW World Trios Champions at the All Out pay-per-view back in September. A few days later Tony Khan announced that the AEW World Trios Championship had been vacated following a backstage altercation between CM Punk, Ace Steel and The Elite. Death Triangle went on to win the belts and they’ve been the champions ever since.
