Even though Chelsea Green recently parted ways with Impact Wrestling, she’s still the current Impact Knockouts Champion, and she’s still known as Laurel Van Ness as far as TV storylines are concerned. But she recently wrestled a match at a PWA event in Canada over the weekend, and apparently she got into a bit of a heated exchange with a fan. According to fan reports following the event, Green confronted a man at the concession stand after he yelled “take it off.”
ANYONE who yells “take it off” at female talent should be removed (from the event and the planet). Kudos to @ImChelseaGreen for standing up to chauvinists! (I know I already said it on FB, but this message needs to reach the masses: RESPECT FEMALES, FFS!) @PWAcanada

Another fan noted that the man threatened to punch Green after she confronted him, and that he ran off after their heated exchange.
@ImChelseaGreen made a loser fan cry leave and call his mommy … tonight at @PWAcanada if he had any respect for women he wouldn’t run his mouth … #FuckThatGuy #RespectWomen pic.twitter.com/9qBA90RLqx

Chelsea Green later commented on the incident when she posted the following:
My job & my character does not give any man an excuse to call me names, or make chauvinistic comments.
