Randy Orton’s return is now scheduled for the WWE live event on January 17th in Abilene, Texas. Orton likely got the nasal surgery he needed this past week. The surgery was timed so Orton would be back in time for the Royal Rumble later this month.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the latest rumor is that Rey Mysterio could actually be granted his WWE release before WrestleMania 31 after it appeared he was coming back. There are no current creative plans to bring Rey back and writers have been told not to worry about coming up with a storyline for Rey.
