Daniel Bryan has been a hot topic over the past few days thanks to a fake e-mail that hit the Internet claiming that WWE was going to release him on Monday. Of course the e-mail was debunked and WWE issued a statement saying that it’s not true.
But are there any plans in place for Daniel Bryan’s return? According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the answer is no. There are currently no plans in place for Daniel Bryan to return at the Royal Rumble of WrestleMania.
Bryan is being kept out of action because he hasn’t been cleared by WWE’s Dr. Joseph Maroon and he would have to be cleared by Vince McMahon as well. It’s being said that Vince would likely approve a return to the ring for Daniel Bryan if he was cleared by Maroon.
