Lana and Rusev have been part of the WWE roster for a number of years now, but it doesn’t seem that fans will be seeing them work together on WWE programming moving forward.
WWE cut quite a few talents this week, and Rusev was among the names that were released.
It’s no big secret that Rusev was in a contract dispute with WWE and it wasn’t a guarantee that he was going to be staying with the company, but Lana signed a new five year deal with WWE a few months ago.
Lana reacted to Rusev’s release when she posted the following on Twitter:
