LA Knight has had his sights set on the WWE United States Championship for months now, and he’s been consistently taunting Logan Paul. Friday night on SmackDown, LA Knight took their feud to the next level when he drove off in Logan Paul’s Prime truck. After months of back and forth between the two stars LA Knight and Logan Paul finally clashed at SummerSlam when Logan put the United States Championship on the line.
Logan Paul made his entrance first and he stopped to confront a a security guard who was wearing a hoodie. Paul pulled the security guard’s hoodie off to reveal that it was MGK who then accompanied Logan Paul to the ring.
The cameras cut to the backstage area which showed LA Knight with the Prime truck. Knight grabbed a metal pole and smashed in the driver’s side window before he made his entrance into the stadium. Logan Paul knocked LA Knight off the apron before the match started and they brawled outside the ring.
LA Knight whipped Logan Paul into the barricade then threw him into the Prime hydration station. Logan Paul spit Prime in LA Knight’s face then charged at him to send Knight’s back into the apron. After that Logan Paul cleared off the announce table. Knight got the upper hand as he slammed Paul’s face into the table several times then hit him with a Prime bottle. MGK looked concerned as he watched from the crowd.
Knight picked up Logan Paul, put him on his shoulders then hit a neckbreaker on the announce table, but it didn’t break. LA Knight finally rolled Logan Paul into the ring and the referee called for the bell.
At one point Logan Paul knocked LA Knight off the apron then Paul hit a springboard moonsault off the top rope to the outside. Paul then went for his KO punch, but Knight countered as he tried to hit the BFT. He didn’t get it and Logan Paul managed to connect with the KO punch for a two count.
LA Knight tried to hit the BFT again in the corner. Logan Paul blocked it then went to the top rope. Knight jumped up to the top and grabbed Logan Paul for a superplex. The fans chanted “this is awesome!”
Logan Paul was signaling for his friends in the front row to give him the brass knuckles then LA Knight hit him with a baseball slide. Knight grabbed Paul’s friends and pulled them over the barricade. He stomped on them then Logan Paul attacked him from behind. MGK hopped the barricade and handed Logan Paul brass knuckles that he was wearing around his neck.
Knight tried to pull Logan Paul back in the ring, but Logan hit him with the brass knuckles while the ref wasn’t looking. It seemed that it was over, but Logan Paul jumped over the top rope for the Buckshot Lariat only for Knight to grab him then hit the BFT for the win.
