Monday Night Raw celebrated its big 30th anniversary back in January, and WWE brought back some big names for the event. During the show Kurt Angle appeared as an honorary member of DX and his segment was interrupted by Imperium.

Imperium stepped up to Kurt Angle & DX, but Seth Rollins & The Street Profits made the save. WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long then made his way out to do what he does best and book a tag team match. Teddy Long recently appeared on The Wrestling Time Machine podcast and he noted that when the segment was done Kurt Angle was the only one who thanked him.

“Had the chance to meet him at RAW XXX and he was part of the segment I was in, and he was old school. Nobody came up and said a word but Kurt, he was old school. When we came back, we always thank each other. ‘Hey man, thank you for the time.’ Nobody said that to me but Kurt Angle. That’s what we have no more.”

At this point it’s unclear when we might see Kurt Angle or Teddy Long on WWE programming again, but Angle has said that there’s an idea for him to appear at WrestleMania in a non-wrestling capacity. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
