Kofi Kingston recently spoke to the Caller Times while promoting today’s WWE live event in Corpus Christi. During the interview he talked about his Royal Rumble spots and more. You can check out the full interview here along with a few highlights below.
Pushing the limit in the Royal Rumble:
“I saw an opportunity there to do some special things,” he said. “It gets harder and harder for me to find new things that have never seen before. We have so many great athletes in WWE these days, so many innovators, so many great characters. Tyler Breeze, for example, is a great character who’s up and coming. You have a lot of guys who are just trying to push the limit. The Battle Royal and the Royal Rumble’s the place that I thought that I could push limits. When you see those elimination avoidances … it’s just an opportunity to be different and be memorable.”
Refelcting on 2015 with The New Day:
“We’ve had so many special moments. It’s really hard to put a finger on just one. What we’re trying to do is have as much fun as possible. It’s just about having a good time and getting the crowd to understand that New Day rocks,”
