After defeating The New Day at WrestleMania 32, The League of Nations challenged them for the WWE Tag Team Titles on Raw. They didn’t get the job done as Kofi Kingston and Big E hit their tag team finisher on King Barrett and he went down for the pin.

After the match Sheamus cut a promo talking about how King Barrett was the weakest link in the League of Nations. Del Rio and Rusev then held King Barrett up as Sheamus hit him with a Brogue Kick. Kicking Barrett out actually turned out to be a really terrible idea because then The Wyatt Family showed up and destroyed them right after. JBL summed up the situation perfectly when he said, “I think the League of Nations chose the wrong time to get rid of King Barrett. They certainly could have used him right now.”

In any case, King Barrett is no longer a member of the League of Nations and WWE cameras caught up with him backstage and asked him for comment. Barrett said that the League of Nations can kiss his English backside because he’s won countless matches for the group. He says he doesn’t care about the WWE Universe, the fans or any other tag team partners.

It was reported back in February via Pro Wrestling Sheet that King Barrett will be finishing up with WWE when his contract expires in June. After the report hit the Internet Barrett responded by saying he will comment on his status at a more appropriate time in the future.

The good news is it looks like King Barrett might have another stable waiting for him if he really does finish up with WWE in June. After he was ousted from the League of Nations, Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks reached out to let Barrett know that the Bullet Club would never do that to him.

His intentions seemed good, but his brother quickly reminded him that The Young Bucks also have a history of unceremoniously removing people from stables.
