WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens joined Michael Cole for his sit down interview this week, and during the interview they discussed Owens’ relationship with Triple H, his upcoming title defense and more.
When asked about Triple H’s return, Owens said he had no idea that he was going to get involved, but that Triple H did the right thing, and he made things right.
Cole asked Owens about his upcoming match with Seth Rollins, and Owens said that Rollins has been a failure since he returned from his injury. He told Michael Cole that Rollins is the reason the Universal Title was invented, because Rollins couldn’t win the World Title for Raw.
Michael Cole brought up Kevin’s match with Roman Reigns on Raw, and Owens told him that he will beat Roman next week. He then told Cole that it doesn’t matter if Reigns gets added to title match at Clash of Champions because he already beat both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a fatal 4-way match.
