Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn recently put their differences aside at Hell in a Cell when Zayn helped Owens defeat Shane McMahon, and they’ve since been working together on SmackDown Live. But something went wrong on this week’s episode of the show, and Zayn and Owens were sent home from WWE’s European tour.

It was recently reported that Zayn and Owens were sent home because there was some sort of miscommunication that took place after Sami’s match with Kofi Kingston on Tuesday. Owens and Zayn were reportedly supposed to take a beating courtesy of The New Day after the match, but instead they left the ring and walked to the back.
PWInsider is now reporting that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are set to return at SmackDown Live next week.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are still be advertised for a tag team match with The New Day on Tuesday, so it looks like that’s the plan for the show.
Next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live will be the go-home show for the Survivor Series pay-per-view, but as of this writing Zayn and Owens aren’t currently booked for the upcoming event.
