John Cena didn’t appear on SmackDown Live last night, but he did wrestle a match after the show as over. John Cena teamed up with WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose and they defeated the team of AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt.

It doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing John Cena on Sunday at WWE Backlash as he noted on Twitter that he will be working WWE live events. John Cena is being advertised for a match against the Big Show at the live events in Manila on 9/9 and Shanghai on 9/10.

Even though Cena won’t be at the pay-per-view, he encouraged fans on Twitter to watch the show on the WWE Network.

John Cena posted the following:

WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens is set to face off against Roman Reigns on Raw next week, and if Roman Reigns wins, he will be added to the title match at Clash of Champions.

Owens took a shot at Roman Reigns’ fanbase on Twitter by pointing out a fan who liked his own tweet.

Kevin Owens reacted to Roman Reigns who was hyping up their match on Monday when he took a shot at him for putting a period after an exclamation point.

  1. To all those who criticize Roman’s english remember that although he is an American of Samoan origin, his mum is Italian. For those who are not familiar with Italians they are notorious for their terrible English (in Italy they’ve only started teaching the English language in schools in the last few years). As everyone knows Roman is the youngest of Sika’s 3 children and with his father (and later on his eldest brother Rosey) away performing with the WWE, Roman and his older sister probably spent a lot of time listening to their mum’ s terrible English and probably ‘inherited’ it. So if he learnt his English from his mum its not his fault if its terrible.
