When it comes to his WWE career Kevin Owens has accomplished a lot as he’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business and he managed to main event WrestleMania two years in a row. Owens has also won numerous title belts during his time with the company including the Intercontinental Championship.

KO shares a unique stat with Owen Hart as they both won the Intercontinental Title two times and both held the belt for a total of 132 days during their two reigns. Owens recently spoke to Love Wrestling about the interesting similarities when it comes to he and Owen’s history with the Intercontinental Championship while explaining why he’s conflicted regarding a possible third run with the belt in the future.

“Yeah, it means a lot, and it’s actually really funny because I’d love to win the Intercontinental title back, but I also don’t want to win it back because I don’t want to break that similarity,” Kevin Owens said. “I want to share that with Owen. So it’s real conflicted feeling, but it’s really cool to have that for sure. Owen was an absolutely incredible competitor, a great character entertaining as hell. So obviously, he had all the qualities for me to become a huge fan right from the get-go, and he had the younger brother similarity with me, so that sealed the deal.”

It remains to be seen if KO will ever win the IC Title again, but for now he has his hands full as he and Sami Zayn are the current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
