Kevin Owens has been with WWE since 2014, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be leaving anytime soon as it was revealed back in December that Owens signed a new deal with the company.
During a recent appearance on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Kevin Owens explained that he dealt directly with Vince McMahon while negotiating his new deal, and the Chairman of the Board made it clear that he wanted him to stay with WWE.
“A couple weeks maybe, a few weeks. WWE really didn’t let me think about it much in terms of they made it clear to me they wanted me to stay. I dealt with Vince directly and he made it clear he wanted me to stay and we made an agreement right then and there.
I’m a big believer in my career is going to go the way it goes and I’m going to do my best with it. I’m there now for a couple more years and I’m going to do my best to get opportunities and knock them out of the park and reap the benefits.
It seems that Kevin Owens could be in line for a big WrestleMania match as it’s rumored that he could be facing off agains the one and only “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
