Randy Orton has been begging for a match with Kevin Owens for a few weeks and they were indeed scheduled for a match at Crown Jewel on Saturday. However, the match never officially started.
As Randy Orton was making his entrance he stood in the corner then Kevin Owens hit him in the leg with a steel chair before the bell even rang. Owens threw Orton outside of the ring and started to clear off the announce table, but Orton made a comeback.
Kevin Owens rolled back in the ring. Randy Orton struggled to get back in the ring as he was shown favoring his knee. When he eventually got back in Owens hit him with the chair again. The referee tried to take the chair away, so Kevin Owens hit the referee with the Stunner. Orton kicked Owens then grabbed the chair and hit KO with it a few times as WWE officials ran down to the ringside area.
The Viper rolled Kevin Owens back into the ring. He tried to hit him with the chair again, but a WWE official took it from him. Orton hit the draping DDT then Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce ran down to the ring. Orton hit Adam Pearce with the RKO.
Kevin Owens and Randy Orton brawled into the crowd. Owens placed Randy Orton on a table that was on the floor of the arena then walked up a flight of stairs and jumped off a railing as he crashed down on Orton below with an elbow drop. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens were shown struggling to get back up as the cameras cut away.
