kane

Kane has worked very hard his entire career to leave a destructive path where ever he goes but it looks like the Big Red Machine’s recent story about being crushed by the announce table and staging by Braun Strowman might have been written as a way to write him off of television for another reason.

It would have made sense for Kane to take off anyway because he has to focus on his campaign to become Mayor of Knoxville Tennessee. But an injury would have certainly given a pretty good reason for WWE to write him off TV as well.

Kane was inserted into the Royal Rumble main event to presumably take the pinfall and that’s all that happened. But Kane might have given too much this time because it looks like he could be out with an injury.

Dave Meltzer speculated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Kane could be injured which is the reason why WWE put the angle on Raw last week. He said Kane was clearly hurting because he couldn’t do much. Then again his Mayoral campaign might be getting some attention too since the election is coming up on May 1st.

Now it looks like there could be even more proof of an injury because Kane has also been pulled from live shows through the end of the month. Kane is listed for Raw this week, so this might be the reason why Micahel Cole informed fans last week that Kane muscled his way out of a hospital and crawled off on his own to roam the streets of Philly.

Kane has been through a lot of tough confrontations in his career so a little bit of time off is never a bad thing for him. But for whatever reason, it looks like Kane might be getting a well-deserved break on the Road To WrestleMania.

Oh, and if you’re in Knox County Tennessee, vote for Kane.
