Elias Samson used to be called The Drifter and he also used to have a last name. Now that he’s just Elias though, he’s in the WWE Machine and making a pretty big impression. It’s remarkable how much better his run with the main roster has been already when compared to everything he was able to do in NXT. After all, John Cena didn’t sell for him for twenty minutes on Christmas Day while he was in developmental… he was lucky to get No Way Jose to take a bump for him.

But now that WWE stands for Walk With Elias, it looks like there are big things in store for this guy as he is in prime position as a heel who could theoretically jump to the top of the card in no time. After all, if it happened for Jinder Mahal it could happen for Elias.

He is also getting a very positive reaction as well because his gimmick, although it didn’t catch on at first, has seemed to resonate as something pretty cool with the WWE Universe in some markets. But of course, as soon as Elias starts singing his insults at the hometown crowd that cheering usually turns into boos.

You never know what will happen at a Raw house show and the fans in Albany got to witness something pretty amazing as Kane seemed to put Elias over in great fashion but he didn’t lose, instead the hopeful for Mayor of Knox County Tennessee sang a duet with The Drifter.

It was a pretty epic moment caught on camera and thanks to living in the Modern Era of technology and camera phones, we can enjoy Kane and Elias singing “She’ll Coming Around The Mountain When She Comes” which is just amazing really. Of course, as soon as The Monster was finished with his song, he slid out of the ring to continue with the match which is just like him.
