John Cena has been very busy juggling his wrestling and acting careers recently, and he’s currently away from WWE working on film projects. Cena has been the face of the WWE for many years, but he recently turned 40 and there are a lot of young performers on the roster who want to take his spot at the top of the company.

Cena recently spoke to Fox News about his relationship with Nikki Bella, what it was like to film “The Wall” and more. During the interview Cena was asked if he plans to retire from wrestling and he said that he’ll always be involved with WWE in some capacity.
“As far as the performance level it’s definitely a business for the young and I am on the older side of young but I don’t think I’ll ever not be involved with the WWE. They will have to tell me that they no longer need my services because it is my home.”
John Cena’s last WWE appearance was at WrestleMania 33 where he teamed up with Nikki Bella to take on The Miz and Maryse. After Cena and Nikki won the match, John got down on one knee and proposed, and according to the 16 time WWE World Champion it was the most nerve-racking moment of his life.
“That was the most nervous I have ever been in my entire life and not only was I worried about her response but I was worried about the reaction of the 75,000 people of the Camping World Stadium. I didn’t know that they would react in such a positive way, and I’m forever indebted to our fans for being able to allow me to celebrate the greatest moment of my life.”
