Today WWE released several Superstars including former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler. The wrestling world is currently processing Ziggler’s release as he’s been with WWE for almost two decades now.

John Cena is someone who has worked with Dolph Ziggler a number of times throughout his career, and he took to X to show respect for Dolph Ziggler when he posted the following:

“One thousand five hundred and fifty four matches. @HEELZiggler #Respect”

Dolph Ziggler had a high profile feud with John Cena in late 2012 which saw Ziggler put his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against Cena in a ladder match at the TLC premium live event. Ziggler ended up getting the win over Cena in the main event and they wrapped up their feud a few weeks later.

John Cena and Dolph Ziggler later teamed up in 2014 when Ziggler joined Team Cena to fight against The Authority at Survivor Series. Ziggler ended up winning the match for his team and becoming the sole survivor.
