The wrestling world was shocked earlier this week when Triple H revealed that Bray Wyatt had passed away. Wyatt had been sidelined for months due to an illness. It was recently reported that he was dealing with heart issues after he got COVID months ago, and the former WWE Champion unfortunately passed away due to a heart attack.

John Cena is someone who knows what it’s like to work with Bray Wyatt as the two stars clashed on several occasions inside the ring. Cena recently took to social media to express his gratitude for the moments he shared with Bray Wyatt when he posted the following:

“Devastated by the news of the passing of Windham Rotunda. My heart goes out to the entire Rotunda family. Windham brought the best out of me in so many ways. I’m forever grateful for the moments we shared. A sad day for all those he reached around the world. RIP.”

Throughout Bray Wyatt’s WWE career he had many memorable feuds and John Cena happened to be one of his greatest opponents. Wyatt and Cena kicked off their feud in 2014 which led to the two stars facing off at WrestleMania 30. Cena picked up the win at WrestleMania 30, but their feud continued for several months. Bray Wyatt and John Cena went on to face off on the Grandest Stage of Them All once again in 2020 when Wyatt defeated John Cena in a Firefly Funhouse match at WrestleMania 36.
