John Cena just loves messing with the world via Instagram. Cena is notorious for posting bizarre and random photos on the social network with absolutely no context whatsoever. The bio for Cena’s Instagram page reads as follows:
“Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy.”
Well Cena’s latest post took his troll game to a whole new level when he got the IWC talking about CM Punk. Cena posted the photo Punk uses as his profile picture on Twitter and from there the fans went wild.
Some fans are interpreting the post as a tease for a potential CM Punk return to WWE. But that seems highly unlikely at this point. CM Punk is signed to a deal with UFC and aside from that, he recently underwent back surgery. Of course that didn’t stop a few fans from creating conspiracy theories about how Punk’s UFC deal and back surgery will eventually be revealed as a work.
Conspiracy theories aside, we know CM Punk isn’t returning to WWE anytime soon, if ever. You know it too. So why is John Cena doing this to us? Is he just having a little fun? Is he trying to open up old wounds? Does John Cena just really like the movie “Slap Shot?”
We may never know because as his Instagram bio states, the images will be posted without explanation.
