Every wrestler knows that it’s a big deal when you win a championship, but losing a belt can be devastating. Bianca Belair has proved herself over the last few years as a main event talent. However, she ended up taking a big loss when she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in only 26 seconds at SummerSlam in 2021.

Recently The EST discussed the loss on Out of Character with Ryan Satin and she noted that John Cena stepped up to help her put things in perspective after she dropped the belt in short time.

“But in the moment, it can be tough like that 26 seconds moment was tough for me, and I remember going to my husband, and we always allow each other to vent, and then we’re like, ‘Okay, I’m validating your feelings, but how do we get out of this? Like, we can’t stay here in this mindset. Let’s look at the bigger picture.’ And then John Cena was there, and he pulled me aside, and he talked to me. He like really helped me with my perspective on that, and it’s going to carry with me for the rest of my career. But yeah, it’s a mixture between like storyline, or is it me.”

Bianca Belair went on to talk about how much her conversation with John Cena helped when she added, “Oh, yeah, it definitely helped, and I always looked up to John Cena. Like John Cena is someone who’s a student of the game no matter what, like even when he comes back, he’s in front of the TV backstage watching all the matches, even at live events. He’ll go, and he’ll be on the main event matches, and he’s always just watching and being a student. And then he’s sharing his knowledge with us. So he’s like a gem in this business, and he gave me some gems that night.”

It seems that things have ended up alright for Bianca Belair as she’s the current Raw Women’s Champion and all signs point to her carrying the title into WrestleMania 39. Stay tuned for updates.
