Jim Ross is the voice of professional wrestling. When most wrestling fans hear professional wrestling commentary in their heads, JR’s voice is the voice that they hear. Over the years JR’s voice has provided fans with many memorable quotes such as, “BAH GAWD HE KILLED HIM!!!” and he’s also introduced words such as “slobberknocker” and more into our vocabularies.
The point is, JR’s voice sticks with you and it’s a perfect fit for just about any combat situation. Fans have created many parody videos over the years that feature Jim Ross doing commentary over street fights, video game fights and more. Now Fox has recruited Jim Ross to sort of create a parody of a parody.
NASCAR drivers John Wes Townley and Spencer Gallagher recently had it out with each other on the racetrack and it wasn’t pretty for a number of reasons. The fight was more than a little awkward that’s for sure, but Jim Ross is here to save the day.
Ross added his commentary to the fight and unlike other parody videos we’ve seen in the past where his commentary happens to match up with the visuals, Jim Ross actually legitimately calls the action in this clip and it’s glorious. You can check it out below.
