When it was announced Jim Cornette would be inducting the Rock n Roll Express into the WWE Hall of Fame, there were plenty surprised by the news. Cornette has made it notoriously known in the past how he disapproves of WWE and their creative direction. Therefore, most thought he would be totally blackballed from WWE. On a recent edition of Jim Cornette’s podcast, the “Jim Cornette Experience” he went in to his new WWE deal. Although, we have a feeling he might be leaving some things out for safety’s sake.
Whether or not we see Jim Cornette start to make regular appearances for WWE, it will still be awesome seeing him at the Hall of Fame on March 31st.
“I am not signing a contract with WWE, there is an agreement for the night of the Hall Of Fame ceremony and promotions surrounding the same,” Corney said when asked if he had signed any kind of deal with WWE. “We’ve not been so f—— negative that we said ‘okay this is this the only thing we’re ever gonna do’ but there’s nothing being spoken of past this. But, apparently now you never say never […] I wasn’t actually going to WrestleMania week until November and now I’m doing 3 different, 4 different things.”
