A few years ago there were a lot of rumors going around about a possible Chris Benoit movie. Liam Neeson was even rumored to be playing Vince McMahon at one point but he shot those rumors down. Another name that was attached to the film was that of “Ray Donovan” star Liev Schreiber who was rumored to be playing Chris Benoit himself.
Things have been quiet when it comes to news about the film but it appears that it’s still in the works. Despite the fact that there’s been no official announcement, this week’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that Schreiber is set for the film.
Deadline is also reporting that Let It Play is developing the film which is set to be titled “Crossface.”
