This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured some big matches including the AEW World Championship match which saw Samoa Joe defend his belt against Hook. It appears that there was also an interesting name at the venue who did not appear in front of the camera.
Fightful Select reports that former NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille was backstage at AEW Dynamite this week in North Charleston, South Carolina. In recent weeks the word going around is that WWE was expected to make an offer for Kamille to join the NXT brand.
Those who spoke on the subject believe that she was just visiting friends as it hasn’t been confirmed that she’s signed a deal just yet. During her time with the National Wrestling Alliance Kamille was featured as one of the top stars of the women’s division and she held the NWA World Women’s Championship for 812 days.
