The women’s division was put on notice last week when Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan debuted on SmackDown Live. They assaulted some of SmackDown’s finest last Tuesday, and their barrage continued this week.
On SmackDown we learned that Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan will be known as The Riott Squad going forward, and they held nothing back when they wrestled in a six woman tag team match.
The team of Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan took on Natalya, Charlotte Flair, and Naomi, and during the match Natalya walked out.
With Charlotte and Naomi already at a disadvantage, Morgan and Logan set their sights on Naomi, and they slammed her into the ring steps several times. Naomi later had to be stretchered out of the arena.
Earlier today Cathy Kelley delivered an update on Naomi’s storyline injuries, and she said that WWE medical staff confirmed Naomi separated her shoulder, and she has facial contusions.
No word on how long Naomi will be off TV, but the video noted that an update on Naomi’s condition will be provided tomorrow.
